Stay safe from scams

Before you continue, please take a moment to understand how scams targeting payment accounts and stablecoins work.- Authorised push payment scams. Scammers may try to trick you into authorising a Card payment or sending stablecoins from your Pay Wallet to them. Common examples include: someone pretending to be a friend or family member in distress; an investment "opportunity" promising high or guaranteed returns; a delivery company asking for a small re-delivery fee; a romantic interest you have not met in person; a "government agency" demanding immediate payment; or a "tech support" call asking you to move funds for safekeeping. Once you authorise a payment, it cannot be reversed.- Never share your credentials. OKX, Bano and Mastercard will never ask you for your password, your Pay Passkey, your one-time codes (OTP, SMS or authenticator), or your full Card number, expiry or CVC. If anyone asks for these - even if they say they are from OKX, Bano, Mastercard, your bank, the police or a government agency - do not give them out, and report the contact to us via the OKX App.- Stop, check, report. Take time to verify any payment request through a separate, trusted channel before you authorise it. If you are unsure, do not pay. If you think you have been targeted by a scam, contact OKX customer service immediately on the OKX App.
