Beyond seeks to enable Bitcoin L1 interoperability, allowing users to bridge tokens like USDT, ETH, or SOL into Bitcoin, and also to move Bitcoin-based tokens to other chains. It addresses the problem that most digital-asset liquidity is fragmented across different blockchains, limiting Bitcoin’s utility beyond “digital gold.” MBeyond also solves for cross-standard fragmentation on Bitcoin, letting users switch between Bitcoin token standards (e.g., BRC-20, Runes) without leaving Bitcoin L1. By acting as a bridge and a cross-chain messaging protocol (using LayerZero), it unlocks previously siloed liquidity and makes Bitcoin-based assets usable in DeFi on other chains and vice versa. Ultimately, Beyond’s mission is to build a true on-chain economy on Bitcoin, transforming Bitcoin from just a store of value into a fully programmable, DeFi-native ecosystem.
