Influence does not always equal trading skill. Even with comps like the one below, traders are incentivised to take short term outsized risks.
How do we fix this?
- Create a structure that provides both short and long term trading incentives
- Create a social space where users can see and understand context to each trade
- Let users directly share in, and speculate on trader's success
- Full transparency on trader performance
- Integrating various social proofing mechanisms such as @ethos_network to help identify any bad actors
Let the market use all this info to determine the best traders, and price their information accordingly
This is what we're building with the @FriendSpaceApp social ecosystem, focusing on @HyperliquidX perps traders first, but then expanding to other core onchain protocols (@Polymarket alfa anyone?)
We want to give the best traders a voice regardless of their influence, and let users share in the alfa they create.
Built on @base, launching soon (tm)
