If the charts aren’t charting
And nothing makes sense
This one’s for you 🧵👇

(1/15) The Beginning
- It was 2021. Bitcoin was at $60K, and everyone was making money.
- I threw my savings into altcoins, dreaming of lambos and early retirement.
- For a while, it felt like I couldn’t lose.
(2/15) The First Crash
- May 2021: The market crashed. Bitcoin dropped to $30K.
- My portfolio was down 70%. I felt sick to my stomach.
- But I held on, convinced it was just a dip.

(3/15) The Comeback
- By November 2021, Bitcoin hit $69K. My portfolio recovered.
- I felt like a genius. “This is easy,” I thought.
- Little did I know, the worst was yet to come

(4/15) The Collapse
- 2022: Terra Luna collapsed. Celsius froze withdrawals. FTX imploded.
- My portfolio evaporated. I lost 90% of my savings.
- I felt betrayed, angry, and utterly defeated.

(5/15) The Breaking Point
- One night, I sat staring at my portfolio. Red everywhere.
- I thought, “Why am I even doing this? It’s over.”
- I was ready to sell everything and never look back.

(6/15) The Turning Point
- Before I quit, I decided to reflect. Why did I start in the first place?
- It wasn’t just about money. It was about freedom, innovation, and the future.
- I realized I had lost sight of the bigger picture.

(7/15) The Lesson
- I learned the hard way: Crypto isn’t a get-rich-quick scheme.
- It’s a marathon, not a sprint. Patience and discipline are key.
- I stopped chasing moonshots and focused on fundamentals.

(8/15) The Rebuild
- I sold my dead coins and consolidated into Bitcoin, Ethereum, and a few high-conviction alts.
- I started DCAing (Dollar-Cost Averaging) instead of timing the market.
- Slowly, my portfolio began to recover.

(9/15) The Community
- I joined crypto communities on Twitter and Discord.
- I learned from others, shared my mistakes, and grew thicker skin.
- The support and camaraderie kept me going.
(10/15) The Education
- I dove deep into blockchain technology, tokenomics, and market cycles.
- I realized how early we still are in this space.
- The more I learned, the more confident I became.

(11/15) Joining Our Crypto Talk
- In 2023, I joined the Our Crypto Talk team as an intern.
- They taught me everything - from market analysis to risk management.
- Being part of a passionate team reignited my belief in crypto’s potential.

(12/15) The Comeback
- By 2023, the market started to recover.
- My portfolio was back in the green, but more importantly, I was wiser.
- I stopped obsessing over price and focused on the technology.

(13/15) The Bigger Picture
- Crypto isn’t just about money. It’s about reshaping the world.
- Decentralization, financial freedom, and innovation are worth fighting for.
- That’s why I’m still here.
(14/15) The Future
- I don’t know what the future holds, but I’m ready for it.
- Bull runs, bear markets, crashes, I’ve seen it all.
- And I’m not going anywhere.

(15/15) My Advice
- If you’re feeling defeated, take a step back.
- Remember why you started. Focus on the long-term vision.
- And most importantly, never invest more than you can afford to lose.
