On November 3rd, Metis launched $BANG token minting on the Andromeda chain and Goat chain with a 1 B supply. 5,000 $BANG tokens could be minted for $1. The minting window was open for 72 hours, but it appears to have sold out. On both chains, 250 million of the token supply is allocated for minting, and 250 million for liquidity. There's no ultimate or financial value currently. We'll be monitoring that aspect because the x402 protocol is attracting users' attention on many networks. With the GMPayer integration developed jointly by LazAI, ZKM, Metis, and the GOAT Network, AI agents will be able to be used for micropayments, and agents will have their own control mechanisms such as micro budgets, confirmation limits, and automatic payment authorizations. Goat is now active in payments, using both x402 and AI agents. The team is progressing by adapting to new systems.
