I started my journey in crypto & investing back in 2017.
Trading, making money, and growing my net worth was what I was interested in.
With Timefuns sunset, it's time to unveil the transition to @moolah, and going back to my roots.
The three issues with social networks at the moment:
1. Larping
2. Finding signal / quality accounts
3. AI bots / spam
With @moolah, we're building a new kind of social app, one where we think we've found the solution to each of these key issues, built on top of a new social primitive.
For the last few years, we've seen larps all over the place. "Traders" who larp for engagement to grow their following and upsell you into paid groups. It's hard to know who is real and who isn't. It's tiring.
On the other hand, the best traders typically have the lowest follower counts. They don't care about posting often or growing their social accounts. How do we surface these traders and bring better signal?
Lastly, AI bots are taking over social media. Every comment section is completely dominated by slop and spam. It harms the UX and deters posters from looking at their comment section.
These issues will only get more prevalent, and I believe there's room for a new social app, one that introduces a new social primitive to solve these issues, and build net-new experiences.
I'm excited to introduce more of @moolah in the very near future. I took off the better part of the last year from trading, focusing exclusively on Timefun.
Now, I'm going back to my roots of trading/investing and building the best social app for signal.
Let's go.
